About Indo-Pacific Risk

Indo-Pacific Risk is the subscriber intelligence service of the Indo-Pacific Studies Center (IPSC), an independent research centre focused on strategic risk across the Indo-Pacific.

The service delivers IPSC's monthly risk monitors — Strait Signal, covering the Taiwan Strait, and the Indo-Pacific Chokepoints Report — together with a weekly subscriber digest, complete Pressure Index data, and the full archive of briefs.

How we work. Every issue makes falsifiable calls: dated claims, published indicators, and stated conditions that would confirm or kill each hypothesis. Each edition reports how the previous reading held up — including the misses. A public, scored track record is the product.

Who writes it. Indo-Pacific Risk is written by Dr Hugh S. Tuckfield, Executive Director and Founder of the Indo-Pacific Studies Center, drawing on the work of IPSC's Strategic Intelligence Unit and research centres. Each edition carries its analyst, reviewer, and methodology version in the imprint.

Subscriptions. Free subscribers receive public analysis and summaries of the monthly briefs, released four weeks after publication. Paying subscribers receive full briefs on publication day, the weekly digest, Index data, and the archive.
